Hello, I'm a front end and full stack web developer from Raleigh. I bring energy and enthusiasm to any project as well as skills in HTML, Javascript, and the MERN stack.

My Skillset

I have skills and experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Javascript, jQuery, and Handlebars.js.

I have skills and experience with Node.js, Express, ES6, React, and C# as well as working with APIs. My next areas to focus on will be Ruby/Rails and Angular.

I have skills and experience with MySQL/Sequelize, MongoDB/Mongose, Mocha, and Chai.

I'm a native speaker of English(American) and have some proficiency in both Spanish and Italian. I'm a connector and have skills in sales and presentation. I also strive to encourage any group I work with.

I sing and play various instruments. I often crochet and embroider and enjoy learning about science and history. I also enjoy playing board games and watching anime as well as various geeky movies and shows. Bright colors make me happy.

My Experience

2017

Bernett Research - Remote Interviewer

I worked remotely to conduct interviews on behalf of clients. My team was coordinated through Slack and daily conference calls.

2014

Art Show Monitor (Volunteer) - Dragon*Con

I greeted visitors to the Art Show, making sure that bags and cameras followed Show rules and that visitors followed Show rules while on the floor.

2014 - 2017

Homeschool Tabletop Game Day Coordinator (Volunteer) - Cary Homeschoolers

I initiated this activity, coordinating with a local business to host gatherings for local homeschooled kids.

2012 - 2013

Odyssey of the Mind Coach (Volunteer) - Laurel Park Elementary School

I coached several students in grades K-2 in writing and producing a play for competition.
